this card reminds me of my son setting off on his first ever trek..... we lived in Germany at the time and doing a two week camping trip for  12 to 14 year old children in the Hertz Mountains  30 kids in all....he wanted to go with them ..

he was only 8 at the time bless him ....i must admit i thought it would be a little too far for him ... but no he got right to the top and down again i still have the little china plate he brought me back to prove he had reached the top lol 

 this card was water coloured  like the others 

the back ground paper was made by brayering  the pumpkin embossing folder with big and juicy spice ink pad   removing the ink off roller  and picking up the design on the brayer onto paper  then i embossed white card stock with the inked folder to get the positive and negative detail i got very messy but had great fun  playing lol  the clock and buttons are from a spellbinder die i used pearlised card stock for base 8x8 card and copper mirri card to matt and layer onto dark brown card and some velvet ribbon
