Launch day for Swalk

Good morning all you lovely people

it’s Launch day for Swalk from Crafters Companion over on

Create and Craft 12 midday UK time

here is my card

coloured  with H2O’S and Spectrum Noir Pens

i have also created a backing paper using the H2o’s onto snow white centura pearl card

using just 3 of the colours from the topper   matted onto core-dination silver mirri and silver glitter card

the wired flowers i had in my stash but fit perfectly with the pink theme

Die-sire Flower Die Table Decoration

Hi there crafters

when we got asked to do these samples our Lovely Louise Welsh who has the job of controlling

well trying…. LOL to keep the DT in check…..

said

let your imagination run wild …

So i did here….. is a modern table decoration

using centura pearl card and the Sun Flower Quilling Dies

from Crafters Companion

i made the cone from the 16x16 snow white centura pearl card

draped that in black tulle then set about cutting the  large and small Sun Flowers leaves and swirls with my eBosser

after assembling the flowers i attached everything  with Collall 3Dgel

from crafters Companion

finally adding the  strips of crystal gems  that i had in my stash for years and never used them

made a few tulle bows to place behind the main flowers

i truly enjoyed making this it’s great fun and so easy if you have the Dies

New Swalk Stamps

Hi Me again

alittle swalk card

using one of the new swalk stamps that will be coming soon

from Crafters Companion

coloured the pony girls hair and skin with my Spectrum Noir pens

then added the H2O’S on the horses mane tail bow and girls cloths a little sky and grass  

you really do get some super effects using both mediums

the embossed panel is using the folder that came with my ebosser

with core-dination card and silver mirri for layering dew drops and ribbons to finish off

Die-sire Flower die Card

Hi there everyone

this really is a simple card to make using the New Die-sire Flower range

from Crafters Companion

I used large Sunflower die to make

a Gerbera

I rolled a centre in same colour card then added 3 strips of petals 

simply matted onto a pre embossed panel in snow white centrua pearl card with a strip of same coloured core-dination as the flower stamped the sentiment with versa fine ink

with a touch of class glitter in middle of the flower and dew drops to finish off

this Die is so versatile if you curled the petals upwards it could also be a Chrysanthemum or a Dahlia

Victorian Bonnet

  just finished  this Bonnet

thought i would share with you made from card 

 i was going to cover it with fabric …..but fell out with that idea  far too fiddly ….so thinking cap went on !

set too painting it with my Black Fusion Paint  when that had dried

i gave it  a good blast on inside and out

with the Crafters Companion spray and shine 

that didn't take long  to dry so i could then set to decorating

with lace ribbon roses  feather and a few crystal gems thank god for Collall 3d gel  lol

Swalk with H2o’s

Hi there crafters

you might already know that there is a new set of Stamps coming soon the Swalk  Range

from Crafters Companion 

Launching this Friday over on Create and Craft  New Pick of the week

the great news is that there will also be 3 Swalk CDs on the show

and one of those is Digital images  so get out your Spectrum Noirs

included in the show will also be H2’Os so i thought

i would make a card using both my pens and paints

it’s very hard to get the right light to show the pearlized effect you get with H20’s

i have coloured her dress  and bow in with the paints the rest is coloured with Spectrum Noir pens

onto Neenah card 

if your using Neenah to paint with your H20’s  be careful not to get your card too wet or it will start to buckle

and don’t use your pens over the H20’s as you will pick up the H20colour on your  pen nib

not a good idea

Sun Flower Die Lantern and card

Good morning everyone

  thank goodness for my eBosser

would never had time to cut all these flowers with out it..

I used the large sunflower and small sun flower with the swirly leaf die

from Crafters Companion

and a spellbinder leaf die from my stash

once you get the hang of quilling the flowers  the possibilities are endless

they make a lovely focal point on any project for each large sunflower i cut 2 small petal strips and 2 large petal strips

if you want a smaller flower use less strips of petals

F is for Flowers

Hi Im Back ....

 it’s been full on here for past few weeks as ever

not had time to think let alone blog sorry about that 

but got time today to share some super new stuff

here is  what i have  been getting up to

Crafter Companion 

have brought out their own Flower  Die-sire Dies

there are a large selection of different dies in this collection

for this card i used  the small sunflower on Felt with Snow White Centura Pearl

my all time favourite Embossalicious Folder   the tag die from crafters companion a leaf die satin ribbon and dew drops

you will need a quilling tool that really does help when making the flowers

i didn't have one so had to roll all by hand
