no card today

just me! to say im still here

the snow has all gone and it's warmed up

thank heavens we just don't do well in bad weather here in UK.

my  postie has just dropped off some parcels of more crafting goodies

bless him he leaves a stone lighter lol..got me some Delicious  wool

 im seriously thinking of getting a spinning wheel to try my hand at  doing my own yarn but must admit  looks alot of work im not sure if i would be able to do it without going to classes 

will see once i have had a think on it.

im busy with more DT work so might not be posting as much

i have been watching the TV shows with Sheena  and Leann over on Create and Craft

Great shows lots of laughter with hints and tips thrown in

hope you managed to catch some of the shows

right the bits im glueing have dried so off to finish

flower fairy stacker card

good morning to you all

im so pleased to say nearly all the snow has gone  it feels a lot warmer

but still dropping very cold at night…

i had one terrible headache yesterday and felt shivery so im keeping my fingers crossed i haven’t caught a chill…

seems silly you layer up to keep warm but these germs still seem to catch you

anyway we will see what happens….i still don’t feel quite right …..but not ill if that makes sense.

so today here is another card from fairyoplois cd

a stacking  layer card with papers also from the cd i think this image was from the decoupage section ?

right must get cracking

flower fairy card with the epiphany shape maker

hello again

here is a card i made  from the decoupage section of the Fairyopolis cd from crafters companion

matted onto silver mirri card a touch of guipure lace a few flowers and the epiphany heart i stuck over one of the flowers at top of decoupage to highlight the petals

little colouring in session

good morning Monday

had a little colouring in session with this saturated canary  sweetie

i had printed her off 4 to a A4 page so now i have finished  colouring them all

i have really enjoyed it i loose all track of time when im colouring in

a lovely way to relax her hair is looking more to reddish side but that is from the flash

anyway i hope you all have a good day

some more knitting

this is what is keeping me quite of an evening just lately

while watching TV i have been using up all my odd bits of wool from last years knitting

the cowl/neck warmer is in chunky wool and the wrist warmers are in Aran wool

tell you at this rate even the milk woman will be wearing them lol

but have to say i have worn mine none stop this past week  snug as a bug in a rug as the saying goes

you miss them once you take them off i can tell you lol

lunch time here so might get to share another card later

flower fairy in water colour

good morning all 

i don’t know what’s happened to the weather but it feels a lot warmer today  the snow is melting

not complaining at all….. about time…. anyway my card for today is a little flower fairy and the epiphany

i water coloured her in with water colour paints then added some  glitter to her wings  with a touch of spray and shine to protect the painting and give it a soft sheen.

matted onto silver mirri and core-dination onto a white card blank with some satin ribbon and a few flowers the epiphany heart was then used for the heart cut from core-dination card stock to match
