3D Lantern Project

good morning everyone

had this project running round in my head for ages and finally got to try it out.... i am rubbish at measuring and planning things....so this was all very much hit and miss you wouldn't want to be in my head or my craft room at times lol......

talk about winging it i knew what i wanted it to look like but getting to where i am now was a laugh

i was stuck up to the eye balls in glue then paints and glitter spray and all the bits from my crafting stash
had a Blue Peter time yes there is a loo roll centre in there as well lol i knew they would come in handy some time lol  the thick card was what i had save from my Joanna Sheen parcels the grey card Joanna always adds to protect  the goodies.....   thank you Joanna !!!

this is a work in progress the side panels need decorating but so far im very happy with how it turned out. i will be making more to give as extra gifts at christmas as a keepsake
thank you for popping by today

sneaky peep 3 Die Cut Decoupage

here is another Humpfrey die cut decoupage from Crafters Companion

Isn't he a dashing Santa in his red coat.....

thats where the inspiration for this card came from....  had to try out my nestie & snow flake dies with the grand caliber on 8x8 card blank
i inked up some of the cut out flakes with frired brick distressing ink.....then added alittle ink to the insert where the snow flakes had been cut .........
placed my decoupage through the circle  added some cut glass glitter around the edge then  1mm foam tape on inside of the card front  to lift it off the insert
added the snow flakes on the top to complete the card
a very quick card to make
another modern style card  with the touch of red.........i would be very happy to recieve a card like this at christmas time

sneaky peep 2

of the Crafters Companion die cut Decoupage Sheets they will be on Create and Craft as the POW
if you like decoupage but dont like the cutting out........... these are for you....all the hard work has been done ........pop them out and layer up
i used 3d gel i think you get more shape dimension to your decoupage i had a little production line going i left them all lined up so they could dry over night then i was good to go the next day .....

isn't he a darling in his duffle coat all wrapped up..cosy and warm taking his friends out in the snow.........

i had to use backing papers from both Humpfrey and the new Adorables cd that i already had printed out
my printer decided to throw a wobbler which is just typical for us crafters......... i think they all work so well together why not mix and match your cds .
i matted and layer the decoupage image on to some gold mirri and green striped glitter card set at an angle..... then used a die cut snow flake a little bit of red satin ribbon and card candi
a modern twist on the tradtional christmas colours
caunt you tell i just Adore this little fellow and his family.......

Crafters Companion Decoupage Sheets

here they are some delightful Humpfrey die cut decoupage from Crafters Companion
when i got the package i just said Awh!!!!!!! they are just yummy
easy to do all die cut just pop them out and layer up.... perfect in my book .... i sat doing them while watching tv on saterday night

i just love this image so frosty and bright look at that cobweb hidden in the bushes ... thought i would follow this through onto the card base , after matting and layering the topper onto some light green glitter paper i used a quickie glue pen to draw the strands of a bigger web then added crystal glitter so easy to do

just enough sparkle to say there is something going on in the back ground but not taking away from the topper.............. stuck on the topper....... added some flat backed pearls then glazed the wellies and a few of the berries in the background .
they will be on TV this Friday now how good is that ....

thank you for dropping by today i will be sharing some more as the week goes by
