little bit sketchy

hi everyone
here is a card i had so much fun with........ trying lots of different ideas and puuting them all together
i used tim holtz inks alcohol and distressing..water colour paints some peel offs buttons and diamond glaze with a touch of glass glitter
and a couple of buttons..
fistly i stamped and water coloured this lovely stamp from Sheena Douglass
.
then i got dirty with the inks on some soft satin photo paper and a straw... by dropping the inks onto paper then blowing with the straw...
take care though learn from me either have plenty of area to play in or have the tim holtz blending fluid handy that cleans it all off different surfaces...
my desk and printer looked very pretty when i had finished lol... but hey ho........ thats all part of crafting having fun
this card is very vibrant but i love the messy effect just right for those little boys out there who love getting messy
thank you for looking

Gold Leaf card

hi everyone
been playing with acetate and gold leaf i love gold leaf.....
this is a stamp from Sheena Douglass bah humbug range...... i stamped on the acetate with black stazon then ran it through my xyron
added the gold leaf ......i hadn't used my xyron in ages .... it was acting up seemed to add more texture to the acetate
i liked the effect so went on to cut it with a die from go kreate
with the image being on acetate it meant i could decide which way i wanted the image this is the reverse so gives you a totally different look from the original stamp...... matted and layered onto white line card stock and some deep rose foil paper from my stash added a few gems and gold ribbon
i liked the overall look of the card even though the photo doesnt show it to it's best .......i kept getting a glare...

i hope you get to catch Sheena on create and craft if im correct the first show will be 10am
i will be watching i love all sheena's demos she is a very talented lady.....

Sheena Douglass Stamps a little bit sketchy

hello crafters
here is another card i made using the little bit sketchy range from Sheena Douglass
i had no idea what back ground paper i would use for this one..... so out came the brayer i inked up my embossing folder then embossed in normal way as you can see i used both the embossed and debossed card the paper was just brayered in the inks i used big and juicy ink pad ...added a die cut heart and key from spellbinders and nestie die which i distressed with tim holtz inks went around the edges with some cut glass glitter i stamped this darling image with versa fine and water coloured her in
the bow i glittered then used glossy accent to get the 3D effect .....few flowers and pearl hearts
