High Society Abstract painting

good afternoon everyone

here is another  mixed media  painting that i started yesterday while watching The Green Mile

oh that movie does get me every time …….land up blubbing

had to finish the painting this morning tears are not good on water colour lol

i did this in the same format as  yesterday’s painting 

plenty of layers  in water colour then the Acrylics to finish off

im really enjoying doing these i love to see the different layers  coming through with the abstract patterns

any way im calling this

home sweet home abstract

good evening everyone

i do hope you are all enjoying the lovely weather we are getting

well im pleased to say mum is feeling alot better now so i had time to paint

another abstract picture

Home Sweet Home

  done in water colours paints and white Acrylic with a  few stamps and stencils thrown in

i had alot of fun with this painting it has alot of layers

i started off with the cling film and wet in wet water colour paints went from there just adding  layers of colour and defining the shapes

finally going over with watered down white acrylic in the clouds and around the shapes then sponged on more through a stencil

The Chicken or the Egg ??

in my case it has to be  the Chicken

a hand sewn  chicken all ready for Easter i made my own templates  with  heart shapes

 i didn’t have any plain coloured fabric

so out came my  spectrum noir

i have instant coloured fabric fantastic!!!

legs are made with  twisted wool with knots in for joints lol

i have been missing for few days looking after my mum

who is on the mend thankfully but im shattered lol..

never mind all is good now the sun has come out
