bit of a fusion fest going on here

good evening everyone it’s very late i know but thought i would share what been keeping me busy here

this bottle box is for Sara from Crafter Companion TV show this month the 15th i think over in Germany

Sara show cases Sheena’s Fusion range  and does alittle fusion painting as well on the show

im very impressed with how well Sara has taken to the fusion painting

there will be 3 of the fusion stamps on show the tulip sunflower and pansy

i really enjoyed doing these made a mess as ever!!!  well wouldn’t be me if i didn’t lol…what a good time i had

another card with H2’Os

good after noon all

i thought you might like to see another card with h2o background done as before  wetting card well and dropping paints in and letting them mingle i stamped the topper

and decoupage the sails  wetting them and running in the same colours used from background

very quick easy cards it’s a great stamp

Wild Rose Studio stamp

isn’t she a sweetie she arrived today

i have just found these stamps from Wild Rose Studio

finished off my painting got everything put away  after a fashion lol

sat watching TV and though i would colour it in

i used Neenah card and spectrum noir pens …i still haven't got round to changing all my lids

so i won’t put up a list of colours that were used will make it into a card over the weekend

any way  enough of my ramblings

hope your all well im just having a break from  painting

here is a card  using the new stamps from Sheena did you catch the shows i think she is back on at 6pm

i have stamped onto acetate added alittle colour with marker pens

matted onto some white glitter card then onto a backing paper from my stash

added the floral spray to compliment the colours

Friday yipeee

the weekend is not far away

but first  there is the launch of Sheena’s new stamps

if i have got it right  Sheena’s first show is at 11 o’clock

hope you can tune in

with this card i heat embossed the stamp in gold

then out came the H2o’s i wet the water colour card with plenty of water  swiped over the paint added some salt and left to dry

i then made the backing paper  having the paper really wet i dropped in the paint held it up to let the colours run

let it dry then dropped in more colour then spritz to soften the edges of the drops

matted and layered onto core-dination card and gold mirri

i then added clean water to the sails let it soak in for a few seconds then dabbed out the colour with a tissue  added more colour to the side and around the base of the ship for contrast

Another card for today

good afternoon everyone

i thought i would take a break from painting and share a card with you

the new Sheena Douglass stamps that  will be released tomorrow

this one i painted in water colours matted and layered onto gold mirri and core-dination card

on a A4 folded card blank

right off for a coffee and catch up then it’s back to the grind stone

New Sheena Douglass Collage stamp

good morning all

the sun is out  looks like it’s going to be a lovely day outside

i had a late night last night lost track of time so im late posting today

my card  is the second of the new stamps from Sheena

great for the men in your life … someone who lives over sea’s or just plain

sorry your leaving card that you might have to make

here i water coloured the land area and the sea with H2O’S and normal water colour paints

re stamped  the sails of the ship several times painted them a grey wash in the shadow parts

then all over with oyster colour H20’s

cut out so that i could decoupage them

distressed around the edge  matted onto gold mirri card

added a few card candi all onto an 8x8 card blank

must dash got lots to do today

Sunflower Mothers Day Card

good afternoon everyone well had a play with

Fusion Sunflower stamp

Indigo Blu foil flakes Yorkshire dales and Crafters Companion  clear Sentiment stamp

made the backing paper with the sunflower stamp and foil flakes

stamped then water coloured the topper 

did an extra flower and leaf as i wanted to decoupage the centre flower

i added some cut glass to the centre for that  touch of  sparkle

all matted and layered onto core-dination card stock and gold mirri

onto an 8x8 card blank

a touch of ribbon and few flat backed pearls

Mum’s Mother’s day card is all sorted

she does love Sunflowers

Jemima Puddle-duck in foil

Yes Jemima meets Indigo Blu Foils

 i got my crafting goodies today don't you love the postie when he delivers craft stuff.

i got a few of these beautifull clear Stamps from Crafters Companion 

these are so darn cute and very very detailed little stamps great sentiments too...

i got the Indigo Blu starter kit pack from

Joanna Sheen

so as you guessed i had to have a play lol 

 i do have a hot foiling machine but not always at hand

  you know when your in a rush and want that extra bling   the foiling pack fits the bill 

is it easy Yes!!! very easy  takes seconds to prepare and your done

dont sneeze though!!!! foil all over  my work top lol

a peep at something different

A Card lol

the new collage stamps from Sheena Douglass

they will be hitting your screens this Friday on Create and Craft

using 3 of the stamps from this design

i heat embossed in black sparkly embossing powder matted and layered onto silver mirri and black core-dination

onto an A4 folded card blank of white centura pearl card added a floral spray a satin bow and some crystal flat backed beads

a very quick card to make but i think effective never the less.

i do believe Sheena will be on at 11 am do try and catch the shows if you can

finished fine yarn cowl

the fine yarn cowl all done and dusted

it’s been blocked steamed and sewn together

i just have to do the card and gift box

i have another on the go same colour but different pattern

had to put needles down  for a couple of days

more DT Samples they are all done now bit of a rush job drying as i type they have to go off tomorrow

got dirty but fun!!

monday already

good morning all wow where did the weekend go?

Monday Already

im still knitting as you can see something different for me today

a Ladies Hat …

i made my own pattern for this one lots of guess work with pattern

but really pleased with end result

the wool was hand spun from locally breed Alpaca’s

here in Derbyshire

this yarn was spun by the lady that  breeds the Alpaca’s

hence the random colour and texture of the yarn

can't get much closer to the real thing as that can you

from the field to needle so to speak

i finished the  fine yarn cowl it’s being blocked at the moment

got to make a gift box for that then make the card another thing off my to do list

first post in ages

hi everyone im still here just been very busy with DT stuff

hopefully will be able to share some  soon …

im nursing another cold and bad throat my son has given me the bug this time… good job i love him  lol …

not too bad but get tired very quickly anyway thought i would share some of my knitting with you that im doing of an evening

i haven’t  done fine lace work in years

the last time i knitted with yarn this fine was to knit a  babies  christening outfit and shawl ….

  never the less beautiful to work with it’s a Mohair kid silk yarn  so soft and delicate

im not sure if i will leave it as a scarf or join to make a  cowl will see once it’s finished  will be just right as a accessary for evening wear or just when days get a little chilly in summer

really enjoying doing it something  simple  only 2 rows to pattern 

im going to give this one to my Mum as a Mothers day gift ,  i think she will like it

i know she was over the moon with her cowl and wrist warmers that i finished in Aran for her last week

she couldn’t believe how cosy they were to wear  had to turn her heating down lol now i think that’s a result

anyway  i hope you have all had a lovely weekend
