a little extra for today

hi there and good evening to you all
i had this little image already to colour ............so thought i would add a spotty back ground useing some of the colours i used in the main image to tie it all together
we can all do dots and triangle shapes just vary the size of the dots and use the darks in just small areas.... there you have a simple back drop for you winter stamps makes the image really come to the front and is done in such a short time have a go!!!!!

i have to admit i just adore this image  (A hug is a Perfect Gift) i coloured her with Spectrum noir Pens
onto Neenha card stock
printed off a backing paper from the cd to co ordinate with the stamped image then matted and layered onto blue glitter card added the gingham ribbon and card candi everything matted onto a 8"x8" white card blank pulling all the colours together
hopefully you approve? she is such a beautifull little image...

I was totally blown away by the new stamps there is an image to suite every occasion through the winter time

with this card i decided to go blues so coloured the image with yep!!!! Spectrum noir pens
printed off a backing paper from the cd the papers are stunning on this CD.....all matted onto core-dination card stock
with a touch of crystal glitter and card candi and a few pearls

i wanted you to see the stunning stamped images so have kept the card fairly plain not much matting and layering but still very effective your eye tends to get drawn straight to the focal point the stunning little image
oh !!!!!! befor i forget

a little bit of me time

hello my lovely followers
 it's been a frantic few months with lots of fantastic crafting goodies  being brought to you with still more to come not able to share at the moment   but they are Yummy!!!!!!!
on the horizon are some fabulous products hitting the Crafters Companion web site
they have a launch on TV  pick of the week on 14th so watch this space for some sneaky peeps 
i loved playing with them  i just know you will too.as you all know the past products have been flying out the door so get your running shoes on for these .........

im having some me time in between  re charging my batteries
 i feel like doing some real art not painted a proper picture in ages so my thinking caps on for ideas and inspiration the autumn colours are just  stunning  right now ....

 i mentioned a few days ago my daughter in law got  a fantastic job offer she really wanted it  too!  ..it's her first week she is loving it...  im going to watch my grand daughter on fridays for them WOW...  sophia and  i are are going to get up to so much....... hopefully fun times all round ......it means i get some quality time with her  while mummy and daddy are at work  so looking forward to that ....
anyway enough of my ramblings i have to get  going on sorting out my craft room   so untill next time i wish you all well and happy crafting

had a prickly visitor

while watching tv last night i heard the empty milk bottles rolling on path outside ?????
so i turned on the outside light to find the Culprit !!!!!!!!!!!!trying to hide near the steps
i manages to get this picture befor he turned round and ran up to the back garden ... wow he could run!
im so pleased to see the little visitor not seen him in years thought we had lost him but no he is fit and well..

what a weekend

no card to share today but im still here
 i have been very busy here getting some DT  cards finished .... they are all packed ready to send off .
boy this weather is so changeable  over the weekend sooooooooo hot!!!!!!!!!!! it was unbearable ....now its windy and grey but still very sticky.... think rain is on it's way...........  it's so hard to believe we are in October already...where has the time gone?
i have been stripping off wall paper  in my landing window.... i had a leak from the bad winter we had...it came from under the facia boards water found away into the inside of the windows and pulled the wall paper away so i have been filling in .... ready to redecorate my stair case ohhhhhhhh im too old for this lark that's for sure.... but at least i will only have to paint next time.... my craft room looks like a bomb has hit it again  nothing new there then  lol...... more sorting out is needed
i spend more time searching than crafting these days lol ..... i really should get a firm grip on  keeping it tidy but hey i had so much fun with the samples.......

anyway i hope you have had a wonderfull weekend and that the weather was kind to you where you are
