Fusioned Sunflower Box

good evening everyone
had a lovely day here decided to sort out my bedroom lovely i hear you say not !!!!!!!!!!!! lol.
had a darn good sort out of some cloths that i never wear and still not got enough storage darn it isnt that just typical.
i thought make a coffee and leave it till tomorrow.

anyway here is a box that Sheena has in her shop there are some lovely things to fusion on there do drop by if you can....they are excellent quality and great price too

here i painted with sheena's sunflower stamp........... its alittle strange painting a 3D object but well worth trying
they really do look pretty when decorated.

on this i also used some liquid pearls on the white flowers
around the middle of the base i watered down some white acrylics and painted a faux organza ribbon band after that was dry i went over the edges with normal white so it had a boarder........... it really does look like organza up close
then just added some paper sunflowers and a satin bow
thank you for dropping in

little bit retro

this one went  Retro
i had water coloured the stamp for the topper and  couldn't decide which way this card was going to go . i wanted it in bright colours as the sun flower always reminds me of hot sunny days
so i went with orange yellow and lime green i stamped out the base for the topper onto water colour paper and painted in with very weak water colour washes once this was dry i  got my quickie glue pen went over the image and added iridescent glitter then with a green glitter pen went around the edge as if it had been stitched .
so with velvet ribbon and few green gems it all came together ...isn't it surprising from just one stamp you can go in so many different directions....... this card really reminds me of the Sixty/ Seventies lots of bright colours and big flowers
hope you approve thank you for popping by today

Fusion Sunflower Stamp

hi everyone
heaven knows what happened on my blog for some strange reason the picture didnt show ........
gremlins i think got in while i was making a coffee its been a very busy time here getting the samples ready the courier has just picked up the last lot so they are on there way to Douglass towers as i type.

well here goes take 2
this is the sunflower stamp from Sheena i teamed it with the little bit sketchy pub stamp
painted the back ground with water colours then stamped in the flowers and leaves then over painted with the acrylic paints
matted and layered onto mirri card .
as i was going to lay it on main card..... i dropped it and thats where it landed lol talk about lucky........... there was no way i could have moved it it had so much sticky foam tape on back and as always i had used the last of the brown card stock i had here.....
i added the ribbon and paper flower to finish
thank you for popping by today

fusion tulip stamp card 2

i did this one just the same as the yellow tulips

i wanted to try to show you really dont have to fill the whole card with colour the stamps are very detailed in there own right  just draw in the stems of the flowers once everything is in place with a HB pencil I find that the best match to the smokey grey ink  so no miss stamping  and the quality of the  Paints is so good you can go really delicate  just as with the water colours if you choose too.

Sheena has done a super job on these stamps they will look beautiful in any type of medium you choose to use
this one i turned into a spot light type card useing the spellbinders circle die matted and layered with pink mirri card and baby pink hammered card stock
added a few peel offs and gems
thank you for dropping in

Fusion stamp Tulip card 1

for this Fusion Tulip card i used the acrylics paints as i would water colours paints  they really are very versatile .
you just add water to thin them down, you have to paint fairly quickly useing this method as the paints dry very quickly
you can get a extender that you can use to thin down the acrlyic paints that slows down the drying time give you those extra few mins to paint
i stamped the image with smokey grey versa fine this time i masked out the bottom two flower heads then stamped in the leaves
cut out the shape with a Go Kreate die and matted and layered onto green glitter paper that i got from Joanna Sheen  i found it hiding in my  craft cupboard so just had to use it
the ribbon and lace were from my stash

fusioned pansy boxes

here is a set of small oval boxes from Sheena Douglass that i have painted  from   www.sheena.tv
just useing only 4 colours the green yellow orange and white with the NEW Pansy Stamps
there are 3 sizes of flowers and these fit perfect added martha stewart border punch  mask to stencil  around the lid
i then sprayed them with Crafter Companion Spray and Shine to seal the paint work ....easily cleaned with damp cloth
you could paint these boxes to match your own decor im sure they would brighten up any room a lovely addition to a little girls bedroom with flowers done in her favorite colours...

Feeling a Little Blue card

hi everyone
here is another sample from the new Fusion Stamps by Sheena Douglass

here i did a soft wet in wet back ground on water colour paper you mix all the colours ready befor you start
next wet the whole paper with clean water and drop in the paint it does all the hard work its self its lovely to watch it mix and blends on the paper ....magic. the paint was very watery as i wanted a soft feel to the back ground so it would compliment the flowers
i used cobolt blue alizeron crimson and yellow ocre on back ground
you can go soft pastel to really bright using this method its your choice

i left it to dry then cut to size i wanted this is on a 8x8 card , with pencil just marked where i wanted the nestie die circle to be
with the off cut of back ground i next cut circle shape and while still in die went in with tim holtzs distress inks to darken the colour slightly

stamped in the pansy painted them with acyrlics paints here i used the 2 blues the 2 greens a touch of white and the yellow and red to get a orange for centre of flower and then black for markings on petals
shadow around the flowers with a light watery wash of the dark brown on left hand side ......once it was completly dry i cut around the flowers with craft knife and added the centre panel of the scalloped edge and circle nestie matted and layered and tucked it under the pansy secured with double sided tape then placed the whole piece on to silver mirri board.
i love this card i think it would make a beautifull card for any occasion just ready to add a sentiment
thank you for popping by
