hi everyone
here is another sample from the new Fusion Stamps by Sheena Douglass
here i did a soft wet in wet back ground on water colour paper you mix all the colours ready befor you start
next wet the whole paper with clean water and drop in the paint it does all the hard work its self its lovely to watch it mix and blends on the paper ....magic. the paint was very watery as i wanted a soft feel to the back ground so it would compliment the flowers
i used cobolt blue alizeron crimson and yellow ocre on back ground
you can go soft pastel to really bright using this method its your choice
i left it to dry then cut to size i wanted this is on a 8x8 card , with pencil just marked where i wanted the nestie die circle to be
with the off cut of back ground i next cut circle shape and while still in die went in with tim holtzs distress inks to darken the colour slightly
stamped in the pansy painted them with acyrlics paints here i used the 2 blues the 2 greens a touch of white and the yellow and red to get a orange for centre of flower and then black for markings on petals
shadow around the flowers with a light watery wash of the dark brown on left hand side ......once it was completly dry i cut around the flowers with craft knife and added the centre panel of the scalloped edge and circle nestie matted and layered and tucked it under the pansy secured with double sided tape then placed the whole piece on to silver mirri board.
i love this card i think it would make a beautifull card for any occasion just ready to add a sentiment
thank you for popping by
