got son’s curtains sorted so he is happy …

then came home to make a gift box for my mum’s Mothers Day gift.

i decided to take them up to her today so she had them for morning lol silly me mum wanted to open them lol

she was over the moon with her new Kid Mohair and silk cowl and her card

so all good there..

1 very happy mum !!!

i will be popping up again tomorrow once my son’s have popped in to see me

in fact if we can we might all descend on mum that will be a nice idea i think she loves it when we all go to see her

 

right to my card this was made from Beatrix Potter decoupage collection  kit

from  Crafters Companion 

the backing paper is from the backing paper pad some coordinating core-dination card

along side some gingham ribbon and gems that will also be on the show

a great set of kits to make sweet cards

for any age

Saturday’s sneaky peep

good morning all

a quick post today im off up to my son’s he need some curtains altering

so much for a lazy day lol..

right here is another card using the stamps from the soon to be released stamps and cd

from Crafters Companion 

i coloured him in with spectrum noir pens

i have used a white pen to re-establish the whites in his nose and chest and to give that  effect of fur catching the light

i cut out the oval from white centrua pearl card then ran it through a Darice wood grain embossing folder

also from crafters companion matted onto gold mirri made the floral spray with some gingham ribbon and bow

hi everyone i thought i would share another

Jeremy Fisher stamped card with you all

i coloured him in this time with Spectrum noir  Pens

then added some distress inks around the edge with some cut glass glitter for some sparkle

i did go over the water with some glossy accents to give the wet feel but it’s not showing

matted on to core-dination and gold mirri the backing paper is printed onto centura pearl paper

this paper really caught my eye it has a distressed  crinkled metallic look

fab for your men’s cards as i have mentioned before

but with the colourizer  i dread to think how many choices you have at your finger tips

sneaky peep Friday

good morning all it’s Friday already heaven’s above

this week has flown! my sneaky peep card has to be another Jeremy Fisher stamp

from the pending launch from Crafters Companion 

i coloured him in with Spectrum noir pens this time onto Neenah card

i distressed the edges then matted and layered onto mirri white card and contrasting core-dinations

i printed off the backing paper again but this time changed the colours with the colourizer

to pull all the card together

i added a touch of cut glass glitter to the main image and on the punched leaves

with a few flat backed pearls

pretty patchwork card

good evening everyone

well all samples have been collected and i was at a loss  so went craft shopping

as you do lol

i got this darling digi  image from Funky Kits coloured on Neenah card with spectrum noir pens

from Crafters Companion 

the backing paper is from a scrap booking kit from nit wits

the lace is a stamp can you believe it!!! yes a stamp is from

Joanna Sheen 

i got two of the lace stamps that dropped through the door the other day

they are just beautiful

i will be getting more in this collection…

you loose no detail at all… even when embossing as i did with sparkly silver embossing powder

i even used the cheap copy paper  it looks like real lace  even close up

i did matt and layer onto core-dination and silver mirri

flash on camera has turned it gold lol

a little vintage rabbit

good morning everyone

here is my card for today

i coloured the stamp image in with spectrum noir pens then heat embossed around the edge in gold

gave it 2 coats of glossy accents to try and get that domed glass feel

i must admit i had to resist  touching it till it was well and truly bone dry… im a devil for touching things i know are still wet  lol

matted and layered onto white card gold mirri and dark brown core-dination card to make the inner frame

cut out the outer frame with dies in gold mirri card

then used peel offs around the edge of the 8”x8”card blank

i just thought this stamp would go so well in a vintage style cameo

i hope you approve

a ribbon and gems to finish it off all on to a A4 folded card blank

i do like this card will be hard to part with it lol

Fusion Pansy Picture frame

Goodness me it’s nearly dinner time and im just getting straight

realised i hadn’t posted

ok here is a fusion picture frame i used the pansy and swirl stamps

with the sketchy stamp in water colours as a picture in frame

ok you don’t normally get pink pansy but i liked them with the grey frame and the gold embossing on swirls

i did some decoupage on a few of the flowers to get that extra dimension

added the flat back pearls simply because they were still out  from doing the boxes lol

little ballerina in black

good afternoon everyone

well i should have been sorting out my craft room i did  go in there and found this little image

just waiting to be coloured in !!

which i did with Spectrum noir pens from Crafters Companion 

on the stamp it will have a basket to the side but i didn’t want that so rubbed it off

if you used a cotton bud to take off the ink from your stamp carefully  it shouldn’t  transfer the bits you don’t want

i have remembered to make a colour list if you would like to try her

im assuming you got your order in lol and are stalking the postie for there arrival.

I thought i would share her before i added the cut glass glitter to her dress

Hair…GB3…TN5…EB4

Dress…IG4…IG7…IG10…with a tiny touch of black in darkest parts
