Humphrey with no snow

P1030643
good evening  my friends
this is a card i tried to upload in time for Halloween so here it is on November the 1st
right what have i used
my little Humphrey stamp
once i had inked the stamp i wiped off the snow flakes with a cotton bud  bit fiddly but it worked stamped and coloured in with my spectrum noir pens ,then ran it through with my new Darcie  folder from Crafters companion
once it was embossed i  went in with my distress inks spiced marmalade and shabby shutter  i then added some crystal glitter with glue pen just for that frosty look on the webs matted onto some brown mirri card from my stash then onto core-dination then onto a pre printed paper from nit wits used some spotty ribbon from Joanna Sheen
i do hope you like how it turned out
thank you for popping by

A little something in blue Humphrey

P1030642
hi everyone
a quick little card made from my favourite Humphrey image
i coloured him in with spectrum noir pens used my Barbara Grey corner stamp to add a surround for the image inked up in
weathered wood distressing ink
then i went around the edge  my pad must have had a little  bit of brown ink on
what a happy accident
it tied in with his boots matted onto gold miri card then onto core-dination card stock and  a checked backing paper from nit wits  which i had stencilled the snow flakes in same distressing inks  to get a shadow look
added some gold mirri snow flakes and card candi to finish
i hope your having a great day
thank you for popping by today

how to create a picture with the new Sheena Douglass lake side stamps

how to create a  picture for your home
with the new sketchy stamps from Sheena
this is a 8" x10"
as you will see i have cut a piece of water colour card  larger than the size i need then with  bog standard masking tape i made a frame to the required size that fits the mount in the frame
make sure you stick it firmly down  on the inside edges so that the water colours don't bleed under but really this wont matter as it will be covered by a mount

right here goes
starting nearly at the top of the paper
as you can see i have used the mountains for my distance i stamped it twice  don't worry about the join you will be painting over it
i used versa fine smokey grey ink   for my water coloured images it's softer than black and takes the water colours paints very well if you  heat set  it...

middle distance
now i stamped the tree set on the left

yet again building up the scene
your going to think hello!!!!  they don't work  but hold your horses it will all come together

forground
then with the separate branch image  i added more to the top of the tree
now get your pencil yep a simple pencil!!!!and join it all together
see  the image below

 see it does work!!
just extend the tree  at the base and at the top of the tree
then again  the land with the group of trees and add some extra clumps of grass
your now ready to start painting
i hope you will try this it would make a fantastic gift  for anyone  once framed
have a great day

last day of sneaky peeps

here  is a little water colour using just the boats and a sentiment
honestly these stamps are so versatile they all mix and match perfectly
they are so good

and finally heat embossing the little silhouette makes some super quick card
but so effective on the inside i used the sentiment that says remember when
well i hope you have enjoyed my sneaky peeps of Sheena's new sketchy range
as much as i have enjoyed  using the images
do try and catch the shows with Sheena today on create and craft  today
9am...11am...and 3pm
thank you for popping by today
