New Fuchsia stamp meets E craft

P1030901
a little crafting project
i  had so much fun playing with the new fusion stamp from Sheena Douglass
i first stamped onto some Irish linen with momento ink using 2 of the fuchsia flowers
then sent it through my e craft to cut the heart shapes from fundamentals 1 design card in 3 different sizes
the largest is 5”
middle size 3-1/2”
smallest  2”
once filled with wadding i decorated with ribbon and flowers makes a very pretty gift

sneaky peep day 2 new fusion stamps

P1030904

good morning  to you all

here is the Lilac  stamp from the new Sheena Douglass Fusion range

another fantastic stamp so versatile

i had so much fun with this card i threw everything at it…

distress ink and embossing resist on background in white and gold embossing powders

then fusion the lilac finally over embossed with more gold

i rubbed some of the acrylic paint away to reveal the embossing underneath on the fusioned painted leaves

added the punched paper strip with gold mirri card and buttons

you could say an eclectic Victorian style card   lol

hope you approve

very naughty Sneaky peep New Fusion Stamps from Sheena Douglass

P1030917

hi everyone good evening to you all

im being very naughty but had such a full on day here  feel a bit jaded ..i thought i would give you an early sneaky peep

ssssssssh don’t tell !

Sheena Douglass is bringing out some new Fusion Stamps

launch of the pick of the week will be next Friday the 10th

so not long to wait

here is one of them  Fuchsia

this was painted  a few weeks ago its on water colour card stock 8”x8”

the flowers are a purply colour but the camera decided it like the petals blue for some strange reason

i did a background with the glimmer mist  and a little  bit of  grass  effect with acrylics

then randomly stamped the leaves and flowers  painted with acrylics added a few dots of  glossy accents

to add another texture… these new stamps are just beautiful

i loved doing this one i really wanted to keep it … was good i did send it off with my other samples

but then i have got the stamps so can do as many as i like lol ….

i will be sharing more samples over the week

once i get the show times i will let you all know it’s one not to be missed

right off to hide lol have a great evening

P1030962
good afternoon to you all
the sky is clear blue it looks lovely but wow is it cold!!!
so i thought have a play with one of my strawberry kisses stamps
this one is Birthday Kisses from Crafters Companion
ain’t she sweet !
i thought right lets see how long this will take to paint so i sat down got ready and Hello !!
done in next to no time lol ……so much for a painting session so darn easy
the kitten was hardly touched with colour just some shadows and a little pink here and there
i only used 3 colours  alizarin crimson cobalt blue and yellow ochre on the crafter companion water colour card stock
the water colour card was still wet as i took the picture so looks bumpy in places but it will flatten out once dry
it’s my sister in laws birthday soon so this will do perfectly for her card

Wrist warmers

P1030946
hi  it’s me again
thought i would share  something i have been knitting
my wrist warmers
must say they are so darn warm i have struggled to take them off  these past few days
as you can see they don’t restrict you using your fingers
they took a few hours to knit but well worth the effort done in dk wool
i did knit another pair they were for a birthday gift for my youngest son’s partner she loved them
will definitely knit more  so useful in this cold miserable weather we are getting at the moment
thanks for popping by today
