a pleated flower card

good morning everyone

here is my pleated flower card using just 1 sheet of backing paper

from the A-May-Zing CD

matted and layered onto core-dintation  and gold mirri card

i printed off a matching insert added the flower stem with white pen 

and a button from my stash

i think this card would match any occasion

paper pieced Humphrey card

hi everyone

i had a bash at paper piecing with Humphrey

i got some new kits from Nitwits called Tour of London 

they are yummy and so appropriate for this year here in UK

with the Jubilee and the Olympics

i stamped him in with versa mark  on to Neenah card from crafters companion

coloured in the face boots gloves and scarf with spectrum noir pens

then re stamped onto the patterned paper for the coat i added rain drops with whit pen and added glossy accents

it’s not showing in picture  because of the glare from mirri card

Humphrey is very patriotic don’t you think ?

bet we get a rainy summer too lol

must get some cleaning done so will catch you all later

wow  what a day

been busy finishing DT samples

but honestly the weather

all day it’s been raining off and on then the sky went as black as soot

thunder and lightening  and even more rain

it’s not the April shower’s im used to lol

so thought i would share another page from my album with you

the sentiment and the bow on far right are also from the cd

thought i would add some real ribbon to the  gingham papers and some  card candi

wow it was so cold over night really funny weather we are getting

feels really warm one day cold the next

  i hope your not getting fed up with the mini album pages

   couldn’t think of any other way to share the beautiful papers

with you

i have tried to use as many backing papers i could

it’s an 8 page album

but if im honest i could have done far more you have so much choice

on the A-MAY-ZING CD

with it being teamed with  the crafters companion  cd programme

you get the colouriser  i just don’t want to think off all the colours i could have done lol

any way

must crack on more DT stuff to tackle

A-May-Zing Envelope Mini Album

i have been playing with paper and glue  again

i had lots of  6 x 6” envelopes left over in my stash so decided to make a mini album

using the backing papers and  lots of other elements that are included on

the 

A-May-Zing cd by Nigel May

there are some truly delightful papers on this cd

over the next few days i will be sharing some of the pages with you all

it’s my first ever attempt at a Album

had so much fun choosing what papers i would use

printer went in to melt down  lol

Special Friends Card

 what do you do

with your strips of paper that you have left over from crafting projects ?

they normally hit the bin  here ...but not this time….

i decided  to use some of the left over papers in a card 

i think it makes a great man’s card with just that splash of colour in the heart
