don’t i know it !

it’s taken me 3 hours to get back on line

downloads messed up all my files had a real mare of a time

so no cards today still got problem with my pictures but normal service will be resumed

tomorrow

WOW Wednesday Already

Goodness me this week is flying

i have been so busy i think i will meet myself coming back lol 

sorry for late post

it’s that sweet penguin again bouncing in to say HI!!!

from new Nigel May  stamps

this time coloured in with distressing pens and ink pads from Tim Holts

i really have had fun with this little fellow  wanted to try out the distressing pens

im quite pleased with how he turned out

that is the beauty of rubber stamping you have so much choice what medium you can used

i stamped him onto water colour paper

I used the sentiment stamp to make a backing paper 

then used a snow flake stamp from my stash then distressed the edges matted and layered onto some core-dination card

from crafters companion 

with a few snow flake buttons and crystal gems

the pen and ink pad colours i used are

black soot- weathered wood- peeled paint- spiced marmalade

so do give it a try it’s great fun

Peony in Spectrum Noirs

spoiling you today Crafters

thought i would share a digi i coloured in yesterday

the image is from justinklined  coloured in with my Spectrum Noir pens

from Crafters Companion 

and believe it or not i used only 6 colours for this… i normally have a pile of colours out

i do love my Spectrum Noir Pens

  im delighted how it turned out

  even coloured the ribbon with pens to match the image a bit of red mirri and some crystal gems

i have the same peony in my garden so went out and nicked a petal for perfect colour match lol

i do love these flowers they do drop there petals so soon after blooming such a shame as they are so pretty

here is day 2 sneaky peep of Nigel May’s

Crafting into Christmas Stamps

such a pretty stamp with lots of detail

i decided to get out my embossing plate my powders and heat gun 

  white and gold card always seem very elegant to me at Christmas

this image fit the bill perfectly

the image heat embossed a treat…. i lost no detail at all…

  it is a very fine detailed image as you can see and trust me i didn’t think it would heat emboss well ...

my embossing ink pad is so dirty and old im surprised it works at all lol

the stamps are a deeply etched rubber so i really should have not been so surprised how well it turned out lol

the sentiment is also from the stamp plate

  matted and layered onto gold mirri and white centrua pearl card

i got to play with  3 of the new Stamps here is my first   a very cheerful little chap

my cds didn’t arrive in time so had to improvise i made the backing paper using the extra stamps

i matted and layered onto silver mirri and contrasting Core-dination card

i cut the snow flakes with a die then covered with cut glass glitter for that festive feeling

must say my word …..when my CDS arrived i was blown away

your going to really love these Nigel has yet again catered for every  taste

they have been used such alot of late thought i would give them a wipe down

they had got a tad sticky a lovely job all 168 of the blighters all shiny and germ free now lol

Ratatouille anyone

Good Afternoon Crafters

im so late in posting today had a bad night and woke up with a streaming cold

just what i needed NOT!!!

so darn funny i did have it on dvd but my grand daughter claimed it lol
