Rose Hip Fusion

Good morning everyone its raining cats and dogs here typical bank holiday weather
but im sure the garden will love it.

here is another card i have made using the Fusion rose stamps and paints, it was so easy to achieve
cut out the die and stamped on some leaves and berries on centre circle painted them in using just the greens and the red paints then distressed around the edge with inks
then stamped 3 extra leaves and few more berries which i cut out to decoupage around the Marianne die

the bottom three berries i cut some wire off some small roses twisted into a branch and glued on the berries with pin flair once they were all dry i added a touch of glass glitter to edge of some leaves and diamond glaze to the berries they were all mounted on a white card stock and distressed around the edge matted onto some gold mirri card then onto some Core-dnation card stock  from crafter companion added a bit of ginham ribbon and a gem

Fusion Sweet Pea card

good evening to you all .yes its very late.......... been busy redecorating my living room which is all done thank fully and looking lovely.
to unwind i have still been playing with paints but the nice kind FUSION lol .

i had these papers printed out and never got around to using them so i decided to make some cards
here i used the sweet pea stamp my first time with this stamp................... so thought i would go pink and white paints to pull in the colours from backing papers............... i stamped extra flowers and painted those at same time......... i wanted to decoupage the front petals ...............i distressed the  nestie shape with distressing ink once i had done the flowers to add alittle depth and colour
when  it was all dry i added some crushed glass glitter just around the edges of the petals i think it makes them look as if they have been caught by the morning dew the papers were from a nit wit scrap booking kit buttons and lace from my stash
matted and layered on the core-dinations card from Crafters Companion oh that is so lovely to work with ........the range of colours are devine ............

i had my Humprey stamps delivered yesterday so im really wanting to get those little images stamped and coloured in .

Autumn Colour flower in flight

good evening everyone
i have just finished another of the flower in flight paintings done in Acrylic paints i did the raised areas first and let them dry over night this time on a soft cream background
brown red and a soft orange colours with a touch of gold on the raised area's for high lights
this one is in my favorite time of the year with all the colours of Autumn  on a 20"x 24" canvas so quite a large project for me ..

Flower in Flight Acrylic

hello everyone
its been blowing a gale here for a few days so i thought i would have ago at a modern painting for my son who has recently re decorated his living room (the wall paper they have has large modern purple poppy flowers on a feature wall) this is a small canvas 10"x 12"
i used the modeling paste to add some detail to the center of the flower and different shades of Purple Acrylics a touch of  black for centre and highlights of silver mettalics to the raised areas on centre all done on a pale grey plain back ground. its waiting to be varnished  i want it to be completely dry.....

 the inspiration for this painting  came from a bird feathers that was flying around on my garden table the other day  as it whirled around it looked like a flower ...............so a big thank you to the bird that lost that feather lol.

Cobble Stone Rose

good evening everyone well as promised
here is my very first attempt at impasto work something totally different from what i normally do. had great fun getting messy with the modeling paste. this painting has been more trile and error as i had no idea what was going to happen or how it would turn out.
i made my own stencils for the rose and the cobbles from doflex
colours are simple white pearl acrylics and heavy body light gold metalic done on a 8 x8 canvas there is a glare from flash  as its now getting late i do apologize for that

i had to waite to share with you as the gold paint has just arrived today.
im really pleased with how it turned out will be doing more of this style of painting

WOW new stamps from Crafters Companion on 24th May

sorry i have been missing

its been full on here
as some will know im redecorating my home  son and daughter in law  came over at the weekend and painted my kitchen for me while i watched my grand daughter Sophia...that was  a lovely surprise i am just about straight in there now just a few more bits to  spring clean  then that room will be  ship shape .

i have been trying some modern art ....very minimal
will share once its all done its work  in process at moment.as im waiting for supplies to arrive

its a new venture for me......... im painting on canvas doing some Impasto work thats been a learning curve
working with plate knives and  slapping the modeling paste on then making it textured.... but had great fun doing it
 have to let it dry in between so i have been trawling the net getting some inspiration i have two very big canvasses here as well as these im doing that are  small square 8x8  im doing it in acrylics i caun't get on with oils  the drying time is far too long for me...........way to impatient lol
im off to watch Sophia tomorrow  her mummy and daddy have to go out that will be great fun.....i love watching her its always a pleasure

sunflower pencil pot

its nearly time for the launch of Sheena's new fusion stamps
i do hope you will try fusion painting its great fun i really hope that in sharing my samples with you all you might give it a go it is possible even if you think you can't paint honestly.

here is a pencil pot i did with the sun flower and faux organza ribbon i put a scalloped edge on this one free hand it came out really well
must re stock on my tester pots of emulsion. need more colours.........
hopefully i can get some this weekend ready to play i have my seat booked in front of the tv for fridays shows even set the reminder on sky ....... got dinner all planned in advance so no stress just a lovely day in store for me... i enjoy watching sheena create her works of art i know they will be stunning.
