One for the Boys

Hi there crafters

 i had  some me time yesterday with my family

 my brother  and his family popped in before they set off back home

 my Great Nephew Dylan has grown so much

he is a real tom boy and so darn cute,

Then son rang to ask if i would have Sophia 

while they popped out with friends 

always a pleasure she is so much fun

i totally forgot to blog  sorry...

last night i  did do some colouring though

I'm going to put this in a frame for Dylan to have in his bedroom he loves cars

 This LOTV stamp i have had for ages  so thought it was time to slap some ink on

and give it a whirl

Sheena Douglass Country Christmas Card

Good morning crafters

 we have got rain again today 

 i have managed to paint my mums  garden shed  nothing fancy that brown boring stuff lol

and tidied up her lawns  and some of her bushed

 that's out of the way for few weeks at least

 i thought i would share one of the other 

Sheena Douglass card that i made for the show with you all

i had such fun with these stamps the main image is done in water color paints

using just 3 colors yellow gold and green

 even with limited colors you can get some great effects 

once dry i used the snow storm stamp to heat emboss in gold over the top 

i used Copper brass and gold embossing powders with the snow storm  stamp 

on the  core-dination card matting layer

 to pull everything together

Launch day Little bit Sketchy Christmas

Hi there crafters 

 well had a day and half yesterday

 trying with all my might to get  things sorted on lap top 

had to give up lol 

im sharing 2 cards with you  to make up for not posting  yesterday 

 this card has been water colour painted using just one colour

French Ultramarine blue 

it is very easy to achieve  by simply increasing the strength of the paint

let each layer dry  in between or give a quick blast with heat gun

 this one i sort of did back to front lol 

 painted the wellies then decided i need to do the background so 

i set about tackling how i could do it  i heat embossed the snow flakes

 wet the background with clear water then dropped in the paint  and gave it a spritz with 

glimmer mist  got the cling film and left to dry then distressed the edges and simply matted and layered onto core-dination and  centrura pearl

 right im off to catch sheena on tv

country christmas

Hi there crafters 

i hope you weekend went well 

 had a lazy weekend   to recharge my batteries

mind you the weather wasn't great we have rain again 

  i hope you have been enjoying the sneaky peeps

 here are two more  from  Sheena Douglass

 im sure Sheena will have lots of ideas to share with you all

water colored onto crafters companion water color card

 once painted i sprayed with iridescent spray and sparkle for that frosty feel

 matted onto core-dination and heartfelt creation ornate corner die with spotty ribbon dew drops and snow flake buttons to finish off

this card was also water colored 

 applied glossy accents to the wellies and a tiny touch of cut glass glitter for the snow effect
