good morning everyone
how exciting...... just had the go ahead to share some samples with you of the new Sheena Douglass Fusion stamp range
they will be launched friday on create and craft tv do check them out they are beautifull
i do hope you will tune in to watch Sheena share and create some beautifull items to add that touch of fusion magic into your homes.  im really looking froward to watching sheena weave her magic with her brush . my seat is booked  infront of tv no house work for me now that is heaven......

so here is day one........ im calling this Blooming Lovely........

i did a painting useing the fusion tulip stamp and another of sheena's little bit sketchy cottages.
this is 10"x12" water colour back ground with acrylic paint on the flowers...the nice thing about acrylics is you can paint over any area
just stamp in the normal way no masking ............then paint over perfect marrige

the stamps are so very vesatile ...........mix and match a total dream

more fusioned plant pots

good evening

thought i would share two more pots i have painted
these where done few weeks back to go with the bird bath i did for my mum .
they are now full of flowers which is lovely to see how well they have come on since i painted and planted them with matching flowers must add i used the real flowers for  inspiration  you caun't get better than the real thing can you (smile)

i thought i would save these till nearer the launch date of Sheena Douglass new Fusion stamps .... i didnt know yet again what sheena had in mind and that is really spooky as i had thought of  painting two of the 3 new stamps.......... the new stamps are launched this friday as a POW on create and craft if you pop over to Sheena's blog there are sneaky peeks of stamps
im so looking forward to watching sheena share the delights of fusion painting with us all and i will be adding some of my samples once the show goes on air

Happy Easter

 firstly im sorry for not posting of late been very busy   this is just a catch up to say im still here . and to wish you all a very Happy Easter i hope you all enjoy the break

while we have had some stunning weather i have more or less sorted out my garden just 3 more bushes to remove that got damaged in the winter. then surprise  more samples for our lovely Sheena Douglass  wow  is all i will say for now if your interested in fusion painting your in for a treat .lots of lovely goodies in store,

 today i have been baby sitting my grand daughter Sophia im getting very good at this Nana lark lol
i love her to bits we have loads of fun she is a treat  to have never a problem and its allowed her mummy and daddy a well earned night out with friends . i have just put baby to bed she dropped straight off to sleep bless her.  so now its  my time
nice cup of coffee and  feet up enjoy your weekend

Fusion Daisy meets Martha Stewart Punch

hi everyone
its alittle cold today here so  stayed indoors ... painting more pots sat here thinking top of the plant pot was a little bare  so i thought OK...... lets think ?????????? now what do i have to hand light bulb moment

didn't want to take away from the main flowers
 make a stencil .............with my Martha Stewart  border punch......  used stick and stay from Crafters Companion to make the copy paper sticky .it gave me just enough sticky to hold in place while i stenciled  the pattern i think its added another little  bit of bling fusion pot painting.....my garden is going to be so bright and cheerfull this year thanks to Sheena Douglass

quick hello

haven't got lost............  been busy painting and doing samples for Sheena Douglas
its her new Fusion  Stamps...... all i can say  at the moment is they are Smashing !!!!!!
 im sure Sheena will announce the launch date when she can.....  as soon as im able i will post what i have done  with them
so its a watch this space lol...........sorry to tease but i have had a ball playing

Sophia's bird bath

i decided to do another bird bath for my grand daughter to have at home
 its all done in acrylics  i sketched out the heart with panda  then transfered it to dish last night its taken  me all day to get the panda right . had to under coat panda with a dark colour then stipple on lighter colours to get the shape must say first try at stippling on a big scale lol
i think she will like it ..............she just loves teddies of any kind.......... im happy with how it turned out

tiny pots for my grand daughter

i did some quick  tiny pots for Sophia my grand daughter she is just starting to enjoy being out doors and loves watering plants for her mummy and daddy . i put chives in the pot for her so they are safe if she try's to eat them
 i know she loves to pull flower heads off lol  well thats what little ones do isn't it
it can stand at the side of her play house and im sure if the chives get chance to grow her daddy will put them to good use in his cooking
 i have done another one  but have to get the seeds  to go in this one for her not sure which to get yet might get cress

All Done Mums Bird Bath

its all done and dusted
got its three coats of varnish  my word that was a marathon job waiting for it to dry on each coat .
it stands 14 inches high a decent size  the top dish holds 2 litres of water so plenty for birds to had a good dip
im hoping the little bees dont give themsleves a head ache trying to get nectar from the flowers lol  poor thing

bird bath top in acrylics

hi everyone im playing again with the acrylic paints
its going to be a bird bath for my mum .......she had her's stolen and never got round to replacing it.
so as a mothers day gift im making her a new one.... its made out of terracotta tall tom flower pot and a base plate
i emulsioned both and then painted in the flowers. i have put the same design on front of the tall tom pot
first coat of yacth varnish on........... it takes 6 hours to dry........it should then  be alright to stand out side in sun. its got to have 3 coats im told .............hope i get it finished in time got 3 more pots on the go just been out and got plants to go in them ready

will show you the finished bird bath once its all completed

had a little painting session on friday night this is all water colour paints
will have to re paint this one i think..... not quite happy with perspective on cottage should have done more middle distance but its all good as you paint you learn
