Christmas Heart Tree Decoration
Had a change from mittens
made a vintage heart Christmas tree decoration
i used the largest Nestie from classic heart die…. so darn easy to cut takes all the guess work out
you know they will be perfectly cut each time i glued this together with book binding glue left a opening so i could fill with toy stuffing then closed again with glue the stitched and decorated as the mittens
i did add a extra bell to the point after i took the picture
this one has got the crystal snow flake i made with acetate glossy accent and glass glitter
glued on with glossy accents it stuck really well im impressed

Victorian style vintage mitten
vintage pre printed mitten
kept this one neutral to go with the Victorian vintage material
i cut out the shape then went around the edges with book binding glue to stop it fraying
then blanket stitched in cream but im thinking i could have stitched in white or brown thread
what do you think ?
added the bridle ribbon from Joanna Sheen the other embellishments are from wild orchid

more mittens
im on a roll now making these Christmas tree decoration
made with the large nestability mitten die felt and Maderira metallic thread
sat watching TV last night happily stitching away . not sewn for a while now so real change for me
my son collected Sophia yesterday and spotted them saying oh mum we have a new tree for this year and are going red and gold could you make some for us ?
in all yesterday i made a pair of green and 3 red mittens cut out more ready to stitch so i can put them on the presents
as a added keepsake

cling film and sticky two’s
hello again wow it’s Friday already where has this week gone?
November is nearly over im sure i have missed some weeks it’s flown by.
had fun with this card with radiant rains paints sticky two’s and foils a very quick card to make from scratch but never the less a very pretty effect
i made the background once again with paints and cling film cut into sections matted onto some contrasting core-dination card then die cut and embossed the leaves on the panels i added the sticky two’s and foils a few pearls and then 3D the leaves with gel
i really do love the cling film effect you are always going to get an original and the sticky two’s and foils so detailed
i loved using them,
thank you for popping by today
