Frou Frou pretty in pink

Hi there Crafters

well fingers are still crossed here

forecast said more snow for my part of the world today

nothing yet thank goodness….

sorry for late post i have been shopping  trying to get ahead of things and keep getting distracted lol

so for today i have a very girly  card to share

using the Crafters Companion

Frou Frou stamp

such a pretty image

i have used a Centrua 8x8 card blank with Core-dination card and the Embossalicious folder not forgetting  my Spectrum Noir

also from Crafters companion

with some organza ribbon and flowers micro beads and flat backed pearls with that extra touch for girly

by adding the feather and sentiment in the corner

 the colours i have used are

TN1- TN2- FS1- FS8- CR2-  CR3- CR5- HB1

Shopping with Frou Frou

hi there crafters

sorry im late today

my food delivery has arrived along side of some other bits and pieces that i had ordered on line

poor postie had to come in the van lol

they do say shopping is good for the soul so i went shopping lol ….

thought i would share  another card from the

Crafters Companion 

Frou Frou  stamp range with you all

this image really fits the bill with me today

sorry about picture quality  wasn't feeling very good when i took this one

coloured with Spectrum Noir onto Neenah card stock

matted and layered with Core-dination and silver mirri card with a tiny touch of velvet ribbon

and a mulberry paper flower that was tinted on edges with SN and a button from my stash

here are the Spectrum Noir colours i have used

TN1- TN2- FS1- FS8- IG7- IG9- IG10- CR3- CR5- BT5- BT6- HB1- HB2

Ice and a Slice with Frou Frou

Good Morning crafters

wow another bitterly cold day here in my part of the world

thankfully the snow has stopped for now but the wind goes right through you

so my card for today

is another from the

 Crafters Companion Frou Frou range of stamps

i had alittle fun with this card

coloured her in with my Spectrum Noir onto Neenah card stock 

then matted and layered with  core-dination onto an 8x8” centura pearl card blank

the lemon slices are cut on my E-craft

using a free SVG File from Sure cuts alot

i glued the pieces together then covered with clear Micro beads

was trying to make the slices look like fresh cut slices of lemon

i think it worked OK

then added more beads around the edge to give that frosty feel with a few clear dew drops and a spotty ribbon to finish

EB4- EB7- IG1- IG2 and Blender pen

i should say that when these stamps are launched there will be CD

full of beautiful Frou Frou images and some Digi kits that can be used in you Serif Craft Artist programme

day 2 Frou Frou

hi there everyone

heavens above it’s a cold one outside the snow is drifting and strong winds

so im staying in doors not venturing out at all in this

so here is my Sneaky peep for today

these two ladies are Dressed to Thrill

matted and layered onto core-dination card with organza flowers and dew drops

from my stash

i coloured in the image with my Spectrum Noir then added the Micro beads on top

for that added bit of bling

sorry if the picture seems alittle fuzzy  for some reason i kept shaking i was so tired

but you get the idea im sure

im off now to prepare Sunday lunch roast chicken and all the trimmings

need something hot and filling inside me on  a really nasty cold bitter day

Sneaky peep new Frou Frou

good afternoon crafters

well what a job... we have even more snow ….

i have just got back from clearing my mums paths so she is safe....

one sure fire way of keeping warm i can tell you lol

so im late  sharing my sneaky peeps of

the brand new Collection

from

Crafters Companion 

to be launched this coming Thursday

the Frou Frou

stamps

 

i must say i think she is one of my favourites in this collection of stamps very modern and girly

a 1920 feel with a modern twist

 as you can see takes very little to make an impressive card with simple matting and layering

here i used black core-dination and red mirri card onto a a5 centura pearl card blank

with a flower spray and tiny crystal dew drops

and some micro beads on her dress and wine glasses for that touch of sassy bling lol

i coloured her with my Spectrum Noirs

clean and simple card

Hi Crafters

how are you all doing ?

we have more snow here this morning  poor snow drops are looking alittle sad

i have been very busy behind the scenes im trying to get back into the swing of blogging again

 

after the early arrival of the twins it really threw us all into a spin lol

they are doing brilliant  had their first injections  yesterday  poor little things

im still busy knitting little jumpers but my word knitting two of everything is a bit of work lol

so here we go back to cards

i had to make a card for a friend

who really doesn’t do fussy or fancy at all…

but loves blue greens colour and anything to do with fantasy

so i think im safe lol

i decided to use the Mermaid Digi a fabulous image from

saturated canary

coloured with my Spectrum Noirs

Here is why im missing such alot

Here are my beautifull  new grand babies

Ashton and Alana 

this was taken when they arrived home from hospital 

they are doing great gaining weight and are adoreable

They have to have trips back to hospital for few weeks 

 with  them being so small 

i haven't been able to cuddle them yet as i have had a cold

 im itching to hold them both

ihave been knitting like billy O  we didn't have tiny things knitted in time

not had much time to craft but never the less still doing bits and bobs

have you heard

Crafters Companion have teamed up with Serif

 to bring you the brand spanking new Party Paws in digi aswell as all the lovely

crafting goodies you have come to expect from Sara and the team 

he is an adorable little panda

He will be launched tonight over on Ideal World at 9pm

as a pick of the day  i do hope you can catch the show

Little bit of colouring

Hi there everyone 

had a little colouring session 

with my spectrum noirs

and my saturated canary digi's

such a sweet image

 i thought it was perfect for valentine day but haven't had time to make cards of late

i have added a list of the colours used

isn't this a beautiful image for the bride to be 

i love it so elegant yet modern

that little dotty background just finishes it off

don't you think  

i will add some crystal glitter for that added bit of sparkle

as for me

im slowly getting back into the swing of things

 im knitting baby blankets  cardigans and hats for the Twins

they are doing well indeed should be home soon 

doctors are very very pleased with their progress

I'm Still Here

Hi There My Crafty Friends

  you might ask what i have been up too

unfortunately not crafting   as such .....

you might remember i posted about  we were expecting baby twins in March this year 

they decided to arrive early on the 23rd Jan a boy and a girl

 weighed in at 3 lbs each slightly smaller than expected for date but never the less

 they are both well  Ashton and Alana

they have just been moved from neonatal  intensive care

 into the Special care unit now both gaining weight feeding from bottle 

and looking very strong indeed

i have been knitting prem baby cardigans like billy O

 and

 yes  it has to be 2 of everything lol 

the proud parents are coping brilliantly  bless them  

it's been such a worry for us all  i have felt that some of the stress has been lifted knowing they are getting stronger every day

i haven't got to see them in person yet i haven't been up to the mark with colds and stuff 

but my son sends pictures daily so i don't miss out

as you can imagine my crafting has been side tracked

with good reason lol

 must say 

Ashton and Alana 

are beautifull and so precious to us all....

they are expected to remain in hospital till there due date

which is end of March

 to be honest with you i have been living and breathing these little  babies

 don't think i will truly relax till they are both home with us all

as for the crafting side 

i have seen both Crafters Companion and Sheena Douglass

have brought out some fabulous crafting goodies

i do hope you agree they are must have's

Happy New Year

Hi there everyone 

well it's a new year

  2013

new hopes dreams and adventures

i have been very busy behind the scenes

still crafting and colouring as always

had a wonderful time with my family over the christmas period

i have cleared the decks....  

samples are all done ready for the off

and really looking forward to what's in store

from Crafters Companion

i can say i had a ball in 2012 but so looking forward to this new year

look forward to sharing  with you all 

over the coming year 

all that is left for me to say is
