So are you ready for the

August bank Holiday Weekend over here in UK

ha ha weather as per normal is going to be pretty bad so we are told nothing new there then

so  my second card for Sara from Crafters Companion TV show

over in Germany

using the Poppy and Daisy Stamp  from Sheena Douglass

and the sets of 6 pens the  Reds

a very quick card  stamped onto Neenah and just a touch of the Grey Greens on stems and daisy

you could coloured the poppies in with different colours from the spectrum noir pen sets

there are more other  poppies out there than just the reds

  matted onto red  holographic card then black card stock from my stash

i also coloured the pearls and ribbon with my pens to match

im having a steady day here today was very tired last night 

slept like a log so i really needed to recharge my battery

good morning everyone

  set myself a challenge for this card

Sara from Crafters Companion is doing a TV show

over in Germany early in September show casing the Spectrum Noir Pens

she asked some of the DT if we could make some cards using

just the pens in the 6 packs and a selection of stamps  how can you say no…. Sara is a sweetie…

i choose to use the Sheena Douglass

Natures Accomplishment  stamp and the

pale hue with brown grey set of pens

had no idea how it was going to turn out

once i had found all the colours i had to work with

i decided to go with an early evening feel  with the sun light coming from the left im really pleased with how it turned out 

it’s surprising you can make some fab cards just using limited colours i must try to do more

but as you know i love my colour lol ….

i stamped on to Neenah matted and layered onto a pre printed paper i had from my stash core-dination and a touch of gingham ribbon

my grand daughter Sophia is over for the day so its back to children's TV and games till later

The Next Best Thing in water colours paints

Good Morning Everyone

i just love this image from Just Inklined CD

in-fact that is just where i need to live 

 the cottage of my dreams

mind you it would have to be big enough to store all my craft stuff lol

i printed off the digi image with sentiment  in Scrap book Artist

onto

 Crafters Companion Water Colour Card

if your printer will take this type of card do try water colours

i do have to heat set my card stock after printing so that the ink doesn’t run if im going to use water colours

i  painted  it with a little travelling box set of Windsor and Newton water colour paints  i have missed doing water colouring  must do more i do enjoy watching a picture come to life...

matted onto a complimentary piece of Core-dination card

onto a A4 folded Card Blank finished off with a tiny gingham bow

The Next Big Thing

i have to say

i wish i had got this CD  from Just Inklined way before now

crammed full of Digi  Images

and lots more in-fact far too much for me to mention

i will be using this CD a lot .....there is a digi for every single occasion you could think of

so here is a card using just 1 of the  Digital images on there

isn’t this a super image

i wanted  a very simple card layout

took it into Scrap Book Artist as i wanted to add the sentiment

so blooming cross

hi there everyone 

im spitting feathers here

spent most of the day yesterday doing samples that i was going to drop off at the

Great British Craft Festival

only to find that  with over crowding  and air con breaking …they had decided to not sell on the day ticket

for today

people were being turned away even with tickets

my word i would have been so angry if they had done that to me

so there i sat last night kicking a cushion  very disappointed i had to cancel my travel arrangements

we were supposed to be going for a day out my son his wife grand daughter and myself

now bare in mind my son does not do or get crafting at all he thinks im totally bonkers playing with card

and even he was disappointed

so big thumbs down

to 

Great British Craft Festival

piss up in a brewery more like

mind you i bet they couldn’t get that right either………..

sorry i don’t normally rant about these sort of things but when you have spent weeks organising  and making plans

looking forward to a day out 

i would have been sat in traffic jams and no ticket

i would have exploded ….

Launch day of Paint Box Poppets

wow the weeks are just flying by one minute im making samples

when i turn round they are  being launched lol

who Paints these Fabulous works of art left me some comments on my cards

to say i was chuffed is an under statement i can tell you……….. i was blown away !!!!

how kind of her to take the time so thoughtful….

iadded the tiny coloured bells for that little bit of movement

day 4 sneaky peep PBP Winter Collection

Good morning everyone early post for me today

im having my grand daughter over for the day 

so between little ones tv programme and computer games

i wont be able to get on till later

so im back with another  card using the soon to be launched

i used the Goose Girl  again in full this time

Geese included lol

i love how just changing the  card shape you can get a totally different looking card

but still using the same stamp

i coloured her in with my spectrum noir pens the backing paper is from the CD

i hope you can see it has tiny little geese on

matted and layered onto navy and white centura pearl card

from the cd with navy centrua pearl card i used a boarder punch added the flowers ribbon and spray pearls

Day 2 Sneaky Peeps Paint Box Poppets Winter Collection

Hi there everyone i hope your all well

here is my card from the stamp collection

this is such a cute image to colour i wanted the little boy to be the main subject

but with adding  alittle bit of darkness around the snow man i got some distance in there as well  so very  happy with final result

and of coarse

i used my Spectrum Noir Pens onto Neenah card

all from Crafters Companion

the backing paper is from the paint box poppet winter CD

there is some beautiful stuff on there the papers are  very versatile

the easel card was cut using Grand Nestie dies with the poinsettia die as my embellishments with a few added paper roses ribbon flat backed gems and spray pearls

 must say i think the centrua pearl card compliments the main stamped image 

 had so much fun colouring her in 

i didn't add the Geese they are also on the stamp plate with fabulous sentiments included
