here is day 2 sneaky peep of Nigel May’s

Crafting into Christmas Stamps

such a pretty stamp with lots of detail

i decided to get out my embossing plate my powders and heat gun 

  white and gold card always seem very elegant to me at Christmas

this image fit the bill perfectly

the image heat embossed a treat…. i lost no detail at all…

  it is a very fine detailed image as you can see and trust me i didn’t think it would heat emboss well ...

my embossing ink pad is so dirty and old im surprised it works at all lol

the stamps are a deeply etched rubber so i really should have not been so surprised how well it turned out lol

the sentiment is also from the stamp plate

  matted and layered onto gold mirri and white centrua pearl card

i got to play with  3 of the new Stamps here is my first   a very cheerful little chap

can say from what i have seen  from the rest of the DT work boy your going to be spoilt!!!

my cds didn’t arrive in time so had to improvise i made the backing paper using the extra stamps 

the sentiment is also  on the stamp plate

i matted and layered onto silver mirri and contrasting Core-dination card

i cut the snow flakes with a die then covered with cut glass glitter for that festive feeling

must say my word …..when my CDS arrived i was blown away

your going to really love these Nigel has yet again catered for every  taste

they have been used such alot of late thought i would give them a wipe down

they had got a tad sticky a lovely job all 168 of the blighters all shiny and germ free now lol

Ratatouille anyone

im so late in posting today had a bad night and woke up with a streaming cold

just what i needed NOT!!!

i love the film  Ratatouille could watch it over and over

so darn funny i did have it on dvd but my grand daughter claimed it lol

so looks like nanna will have to get another one

hi there Tuesday

good afternoon everyone

birthday celebrations for Sophia went very well

she phoned late last night to tell me she had got home with help from her daddy

she said she couldn’t talk ? her legs were aching  lol

bless her  they have just popped in this morning and had a chat

we did alittle colouring  she so wants to use my pens 

i did have them sat in the colour groups  for the toppers i had been colouring these she duly pushed off the stool

with lots of giggling all round

so here are a few toppers ready to go onto cards

Monday is here

good morning Monday

it’s my grand daughter Sophia’s 3rd birthday today

Doesn’t Seem 5 minutes  since she arrived…

they are popping over later i hope they bring cake.

they came back from coast early rain stopped play but at least they had a change of scenery

so what did i get up to yesterday apart from dog sitting i coloured in some digi images

with my trusty Spectrum Noir Pens

the weather here is dry but very chilly today i don’t have any plans at the moment

but im sure at some point colouring will come in to it lol

new Saturated Canary digi images

good morning everyone

it’s raining here most welcome after the dry spell we have had

just a tad chilly though never mind im indoors so not a problem

today im sharing two cards coloured with my spectrum noir pens

from crafters companion

this one i kept very simple added some colour to her dress and a shadow

which i covered in crystal glitter onto white centrua and silver mirri added some satin ribbon and card candi.

 

this one i coloured her in and then used the Barbara Grey corner stamp then covered the dress in  clear cut glass

glitter for that extra bling with a few flowers swirls and card candi
