fusion rose stamp

good morning all 

what a night it’s been here so darn cold –12 at 10pm im still up watching a silly movie on TV god knows why its rubbish

but have to see how it ends

they tell us it will get warmer but then we will get more snow Thursday or Friday how nice is that …

we still have snow and thick ice  nasty stuff .

i have decided the only snow i like is on a Christmas card  lol

 

here is the  new rose stamp from Sheena Douglass

sorry for poor quality of picture the flash has taken some of the colour out

i painted a backing paper using the colours i  use in the rose and let them mix on there own

stamped the image on topper then once it was dry i wet the water colour paper around the rose and dropped in some more colours then let them spread on there own you get a very soft edge effect

i added some glossy accents with a touch of crystal glitter matted onto gold mirri card

lots to share with you all

good afternoon to you all

hope im not boring you with all my post....

just popped up to my mums with some knitted wrist warmers for her 

same as the ones i did for myself the other day

she couldn't believe how warm her hands were in minutes 

she wants another pair lol bless  i do love her soooo much! she was chuffed to think she can still stitch and knit in them while sat watching TV  so one happy mum today ....

anyway here is another sample using the lilac stamp from Sheena  stamped onto Irish linen

with momento ink then cut out on e craft  using fundamental  1 heart shape

i hand sewn this one then decorated with guipure lace  satin/organza ribbon and little wooden buttons

i made the box on my crafters companion box board

added the stamped image and decorations to match

i hope you approve i think these would make a lovely gift for anyone

Sheena Douglass fusion cd

had to share did you know our lovely

Sheena Douglass  has done her very own craft cd

it’s jam packed full of  Sheena's fusion art work there are backing papers toppers decoupage and lots more

if you like the fusion look but not into painting this cd is just what you need

this too will be launched on Friday 10th as part of the pick of the week

a show you really must try and watch! or set record i have my seat booked lol

 

here i used  the small stacking circle boxes and the decoupage from the cd

i glued the base layer onto the lid then once dry with white acrylic paints just swiped in from the edge  to get that shabby chic look

cut out the decoupage and layered up with 3d gel from crafters companion the dimension you get if fantastic

added some crystal glitter  and spray and shine

with a tad of gingham ribbon to finish off

popcorn card

im really enjoying  playing Popcorn teamed with the Epiphany shape maker

here i have used it as a traditional punch

now this is how blooming good this punch has sailed through water colour card stock

i ask you how good is that…..im impressed i really am !!!

i have used

 crafters companion  core-dination card stock  crafters companion water colour card centrua pearl

silver miri and spotty ribbon from Joanna Sheen 

and of coarse water colour paints

flower from wild orchid

Epiphany Shape Maker meets Strawberry Kisses

hi every one  good morning to you all

finished my son’s birthday card with the added Epiphany shape maker

coming soon from Crafters Companion

this time i punched out the heart onto glitter paper that i had in my stash that Joanna Sheen used to sell a little thicker than core-dination card stock

i was expecting it to get stuck ! but no it cut like a dream

this tool is so darn easy to use

slide the paper or thin card under the rim  place self adhesive epoxy sticker on top and punch !!!

super little embellishments all ready to add to your card

i love it will definitely be adding more to my  collection

using the punch was so darn easy i didn’t think it had worked !!

cut through core-dination card stock like butter and no pressure on my wrist at all

New Fusion Lilac Stamp Picture

Hi everyone how are you doing today ? god it's still slippy outside with the ice thought it might get better as the day went on we have had freezing fog since late last night pretty grim stuff
i have been busy finishing off some extra DT samples  they are all boxed ready so fingers crossed the roads will be clear and courier can get through ...

as soon as i saw the stamps  i got the image in my head  i had to do a painting  just couldn't resist  

using the new Sheena Douglass Fusion Lilac stamp

Launch date is looming this Friday  as the Pick of the week 

i used the Little bit Sketchy milestone and moments cottage painted  in water colours

once it was dry i painted in the lilacs and leaves with acrylics

im very happy how it turned out  

with the  lilacs just framing the cottages  that splash of pinks at fore front  adds that touch of  summer

it's a 10" x 8"

finished chunky cowl

good morning  all

  im nursing a pulled back and arm  went over on black ice this morning

i only went to close the gate felt silly as you do when you go over

never mind it could have been far worse..

i have been using up some of my wool stash and decided to knit a cowl in chunky wool

just finished it off so i can wear it today well worth it so warm and light

i knitted till all the wool was used ….it’s long enough to wrap round twice neck will be toasty now

if you have to go out in UK be careful on ice

Birthday card

Good evening to you all

wow what a day DT stuff all boxed ready for the off tomorrow

fingers crossed they can get here

snow is melting so hopefully will be fine 

the little Strawberry Kisses i painted the other day has finally got made into a card

i added some crushed glass glitter to the shoe matted onto gold mirri then onto some glitter card with a touch of ribbon

it has to go through post so wanted to keep it simple im shattered  feel as if i have done a work out!!
